My pal Sophie from I Heart Flowers is launching a little something special very soon, and while I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to tell you just yet, I will say that I talked her into doing this lovely little shoot at Seacliff Beach to promote it. My friend & 2nd shooter Rhiannon collaborated with us on the styling and also modeled with the rest of her ridiculously good looking family. Here is a little peek at some of the pictures. I’m VERY excited about the rest!
Katie & Josh’s wedding was so much fun! These two and their guests came all the way from America to get married in Edinburgh. Their wedding was lovely, and emotional, and such an amazing party! There were so many great moments, and all of their guests had lots of character. Katie and Josh were as lovely and kind as they could be, and if their wedding is any indication, they will have a really fun life together. Congratulations to Katie & Josh
I had a wonderful time last night photographing Bex & Nik. I was watching the weather closely all week, and in spite of the BBC assuring me it would be nice last night, we showed up to the park in a proper downpour! Luckily it cleared up towards the end just enough to let in a bit of golden light. Can’t wait to work on this shoot as it’s not every day I get to photograph a gorgeous & glowing expectant twin mama. You can get to know Bex and follow her story via her blog The Olive Dragonfly. Congratulations to Bex & Nik who will obviously make amazing and hilarious parents!
I loved photographing Jennifer & Brendan’s wedding at Broxmouth Park. Everything about this wedding was elegant and lovely. Jennifer & Brendan were fantastic to work for, they were so very kind & lovely, AND they had their hearts set on twilight photos by the beach: my kind of people! I can’t wait to show you the rest of these pictures. Congratulations to Jennifer & Brendan!
It was such a treat to photograph Chiara and Rob’s wedding at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh. You may have already seen this wedding featured on Love My Dress, but it’s always nice to post my own edit too. Everything about this wedding was elegant and fun, and Chiara & Rob are two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. Be sure to check out Wine & Olives their awesome lifestyle & food blog. Congratulations to Chiara & Rob!

Thanks to Kirsty & East Side Bride for setting me up with Katie & Mick. Words can’t begin to describe how much I enjoyed photographing their magical elopement. It truly was a wonderful day and they are the loveliest of couples. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Did you see this first one was featured as picture of the day over on The Wedding Community? Fancy! Congratulations to Katie & Mick!

I spent way too long obsessing about this preview because even though it is only a preview I wanted it to convey exactly how gorgeous Leah & Greg’s wedding was. I was so happy to be there photographing it. Leah and Greg’s wedding was truly the best of both worlds because it was a relaxed home grown affair with their friends and family coming together to contribute all of the details, only they happen to be really good friends with people like Lotte & Bloom, Ruby Flowers, and Alison Macleod. Leah is also blessed with very talented relatives as her sister designed and made her dress, her other sister made a cake, her mother crafted lovely willow wreaths, and being a jeweler herself Leah made the wedding rings. It was a beautiful day, sunny & golden with lots of children frolicking everywhere you looked, and everyone smiling. I adored photographing this wedding and can’t wait to get to work on editing it. Congratulations to Leah & Greg!
