Liz & Simon’s wedding was extremely lovely, and I felt so lucky to photograph it. It is always a plus to work with other incredibly talented vendors and so I was very pleased that Mayfield Flowers, an Ayrshire florist who grows all of her own local seasonal flowers, was a part of the day too. Charmaine Gittens did a a fantastic job creating a natural look for the makeup, and Dalduff Farm is such a special venue, I am always a bit extra-excited to photograph weddings there. However the best part of this this wedding was how happy everybody was. I don’t think that I have ever seen two people happier to be getting married than Liz & Simon, and their joy was positively contagious. So congratulations to Simon & Liz! I’m wishing you so many happy years! There are many more gorgeous pictures to come.
As soon as I met Simon & Liz I knew that I really wanted to be their wedding photographer. They are lovely, down to earth, and they actively care about the world & the people who live in it, and I think that is the best. Any vegetarian bride who goes to a protest march against racism for her hen party is pretty much going make giant hearts come out of my eyes. I was even more thrilled when they told me that they wanted to do their engagement shoot at Loch Ard. I couldn’t be more excited to photograph their wedding tomorrow! Congratulations to Simon & Liz!
I’m so happy to be sharing this preview from Jacqui & Barry’s wedding this past weekend. It was such lovely day, and so much fun. I was very excited to see some lovely jewels by the very talented Alison Macleod there too. That’s my 2015 wedding season kicked off, and I can’t think of a better way to have started it. Congratulations to Jacqui & Barry!
Jennifer & Paul had an intimate stylish wedding in Glasgow last May and their reception was held at the Corinthian Club. It was a gorgeous sunny day in Glasgow and a beautiful wedding. Congratulations to Jennifer & Paul!
Now that my 2015 wedding season has started up, I’m going to finish catching my blog up on all of my 2014 weddings, and oh my were there some good ones. I did some really fun engagement shoots in 2014 too. Here is Jennifer & Paul’s London street art engagement shoot. I had a lovely time going down to London for this one. Check back in tomorrow for their gorgeous wedding at the Corinthian Club in Glasgow. Congratulations to Jennifer & Paul!
I keep meaning to update my blog as there has been so much going on, and I have so many shoots that I’m seriously excited to share here. I have started offering complimentary pre-wedding shoots to all of my wedding clients, and I’ve had the best time getting to know everyone and taking pretty pictures. Jacqui & Barry are getting married tomorrow! Theirs will be my first wedding of the year if you can believe it, though there are 31 more to squeeze in by December. I thought I should blog Jacqui & Barry’s wee engagement shoot before their wedding tomorrow. They already have a family and they wanted to include them in their photos, so this was more of a family shoot with tiny bit of romance at the end. The Water of Leith Walkway near Dean Village is one of my favourite gems of Edinburgh, so it was lovely to do a shoot here. Congratulations to Jacqui & Barry! I can’t wait to post a wee preview from their wedding next week!
Beth & Joachim had a wonderfully stylish wedding at House For An Art Lover last May. All of the spring flowers were still in blossom and it made an impossibly romantic backdrop for their wedding. I was also very excited to worth with some of my fellow Glasgow Wedding Collective members on this wedding. It was such a beautiful day. Congratulations to Beth & Joachim!
