I loved Stephanie & David’s wedding. I’ve noticed that there is something especially wonderful about very small weddings where just a few friends and family travel to a lovely place to celebrate a couple’s commitment. The day feels so intimate and emotional. Stephanie & David chose an incredibly lovely place, the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh, and it was one of those magical Scottish days where in spite of being promised lots of rain, it was sunny and lovely. There were more gorgeous arrangements from Planet Flowers, and the Botanic Gardens staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The wedding guests were all very kind, and there was lots of laughter and maybe just a few tears. When I think of Stephanie & David I can’t get the word adorable out of my head- it is a word that I perhaps use a bit overmuch on this blog, but these two are the very embodiment of it and I felt so lucky to be able to photograph their day.
